#18 on the McCrum list.... still going along in chronological order.
Debating between 4 and 5 stars, it jumps up into the 5 category as much because of the novelty of it.... Carroll's imagination carries the day. My second time reading it as an adult.... oddly (or maybe naturally) I couldn't "get it" enough to finish it as a child.

Forgot how funny this book was...

Rereading this as an adult makes most of the text seem random. I still enjoyed it but ended up feeling very confused half the time.
