Another case of the movie did it better. I’m glad they didn’t pursue a romantic relationship between Eliza and Higgins here because there was no chemistry here to speak of, not to mention a horrendous age-gap and overall power imbalance, but in the movie it did help to cut the tension and rounded out otherwise unbearably abrasive characters. 4 stars because I’m sentimental.

Not used to reading many Plays but soon I became absorbed in it and was able to fly through it without taking notice. Read this book in one day, it is very short. I did not enjoy the ending at all but then again I am a hopeless romantic of sorts.
