Lamenting on the appropriate rating for this book was distracting me from the read and lowering my enjoyment of the book, so I have decided to leave this unrated. Part of the difficulty in rating this book is that you could give it very different ratings depending what you are looking for from the read. So instead as I read for pleasure and as rating was diminishing the pleasure, ratings are out the window and I sat back and enjoyed the book!

3,5 estrelas.
Eis um livro cujo titulo não engana quanto à narrativa. É de facto sobre 3 homens (e 1 cão) a andar de barco ao longo do rio.
Durante a quinzena em que se encontram a navegar, os três homens metem-se em peripécias mundanas (não encontram onde passar a noite por exemplo) e recordam-se de momentos passados, em que o narrador se demonstra com um carácter hipócrita humoroso.
Com a excepção de um momento mais sombrio que o livro inteiro (view spoiler)
