I really hated this book.
I think the writing was just too old fashioned for me. I found it difficult to keep interested which is a shame as I really wanted to read more classics but this has put me off a bit.

I really wanted to enjoy it as the plot was really interesting. But the way it was written caused me to feel bored.

While I’m usually not a fan of paranormal books, I really enjoyed this one. Excellently written, a good pace and interesting characters/plot. The only minus is that the first person narrative sometimes shows the age of the book .
