A comfort food reread of one of my all time favorite books. If I were reading it for the first time as an adult, I don't know that I would think much of it. The pacing seems a little weird now, the things I like best about it rush through quickly at the beginning, all the survival day by day stuff, the plans Sam makes, him having to handle every meal.
