It's only fine. I expected more from a Harry-Potter-like sensation. It's just too much of a fairy tale with completely flat characters. You can't get more of a Gary Stu than little Cedric and more of a Mary Sue than his "dearest" mama. I still enjoyed it, just nowhere near as much as The Secret Garden.
