LM Montgomery’s stories are always so lovely and hopeful. The Blue Castle is no different. I loved reading the story of 29 year-old Valency Stirling and how she overcomes her sheltered upbringing to find life and love. Montgomery’s stories are becoming some of my favorite comfort reads!
I love this book. Self-discovery, friendship, romance, happy ending, descriptions of gorgeous Canadian wilderness, what's not to like?

I love L.M. Montgomery’s writing for the younger audience. This was my first of her novels for adults. It took me a while to get hooked but it was worth sticking with. I look forward to reading more of her writings for adults.
