The Magic Mountain is a book that has everything: Love, Life, Illness Death and Philosophy, lots of philosophy. The reason I didn't give it 4 or 5 stars is because I had to force myself to keep reading at times. I thoroughly enjoyed some sections, others, particularly the romance, was quite silly, others quite boring. I have read that one should read this book more than once to really understand it and maybe one day I will.
