As long as one reads this more as a slice of life rather than a fascinating story, this is quite enjoyable. Fortunately I really enjoy reading about someone bumming around a city and eating tasty food. I wish Hem could write women better. I really enjoyed Bill though, by far he was the most entertaining Hemmingway character yet- and hey, nobody died!
