What Members Thought
I don’t know if Verne was a ichthyologist or studied cetaceans before he wrote this novel or if he spent an exorbitant amount of time studying zoophytes and aquatic genus but yikes. This book was full of names of different species of fish, coral, whales and every other sea creature imaginable. I felt it was less like a adventure with Captain Nemo and more like a science book.
