I love classic literature, but I have to admit that I had some trouble getting through 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The plot and the descriptions of the Nautilus as well as the exotic places it travels are captivating, but Verne continually interrupts the story to describe every species of sea life that Professor Aronnax sees through the windows. Pages and pages filled with the Latin names of fish. We get it, Jules. We get it.

I still gave it four stars for the good parts.
