What Members Thought
I thought the book was delightful. I enjoyed Emma's character, she was funny, clueless, kind, snobby, good natured... I felt like I could see little bits of me in her here and there.

Mr. George Knightley, that is. The story itself was well written but hard for me to get through at times because of the slow pace and wordiness. I did check out the movie (with Gwyneth Paltrow) recently to see how it played out and it was okay. I probably wouldn't recommend it.
