The Thorn Birds is a 1977 best-selling novel by the Australian author Colleen McCullough. Set primarily on Drogheda—a fictional sheep station in the Australian Outback named after Drogheda, Ireland—the story focuses on the Cleary family and spans the years 1915 to 1969.

Oh MY GOSH!! How I loved living in the land of The Thorn Birds!! This is a huge book/ audiobook and usually I would be checking how much more!! But nooo this family saga was one I didn’t want it to end.
I know I am late to this book but like Ann Patchett says if you haven’t read it.. it’s new to you!
I never watched the TV series either cause I never cared for Richard Chamberlain.. and lucky for me Archbishop Ralph in the book he is tall dark and so handsome !
