Vanity Fair is a long drawn out novel which is centered around two women, Becky and Amelia. Thackeray style of writing is different then I am use to -- he is both writer and narrator. At first, I did not like his interfering in my reading but got use to it. I read this novel with a group which made it so much more interesting.
