لما تقدم رواية في أقل من 200 صفحة، ما يشبه الدليل لكل ثورات المستقبل، يبقى الرواية دي عظيمة و جورج أورويل ده عظيم.

لما كانت الناس بتتكلم عن قد ايه الرواية دي مبهرة، وازاي قدر يستخدم الرمزية ويمثل دول مختلفة وثورات مختلفة في مزرعة حيوانات، مكنتش بصدق أو بقتنع. ورغم أنه كتبها مستوحياً نظام ستالين في روسيا، إلا أن الرواية فعلاً تنفع لأي دولة في أي زمان ولأي ثورة قامت بمختلف مراحلها. وخلاني عايزة أقرأ أكتر عن الثورة البلشيفية والإتحاد السوفيتي ونظام ستالين وكل ده، عشان أفهم أكتر، وعشان عندي فضول أكتش ...more

Guitar Hero, my 14 year old son, is not an abstract thinker. In the first place, he is 14, and a boy. As well, he was diagnosed with autism when he was 3, which manifests itself in several ways, one of which is that he doesn’t really do well with abstraction.

So, when he was assigned Animal Farm as part of his social studies unit on the Russian/Chinese revolutions, it made sense that we would read and discuss it together. This turned out to be an awesome way to gain a deeper understanding of Orwe ...more
