What Members Thought

Melissa (ladybug)
OH! I so wished this book had been longer! Miss Austen knew how to really craft a well told story that captivates and ensnares its readers.

I really wanted to give this only two stars, because I cared so little for the subject matter, but I have to admit that I was really a fan of Jane's language. I found myself thinking in Victorian English. It was really rather titillating.

But, yeah, otherwise it's a bunch of chicks whose only goal in life is to get married. Some are more discerning in who they are willing to marry, but they otherwise have no concerns in life.

The father is an amusing character.
