I 1st read this as a kid, and couldn't/didn't appreciate it enough at that time. I didn't realize that I was holding a precious gem. Re-reading as a teen, it quickly became one of my favorite books of all time, and one that I now constantly re-read. I re-visit Francie and the Nolan family each and every summer...Closing the cover concludes another wonderful visit with a dear old friend. --Jen from Quebec :0)
