The first ever true crime book? Capote's style is really engaging, although at times the book lagged a little, which is why it didn't ascend to the point of absolutely loving it. It is however excellent. I'm not a true-crime guy, which might be why I like it. This was apparently the book that birthed that genre, and it's very dark, and hard to read in parts, especially knowing it's real.
