I really enjoyed this book and Gabriel Oak will forever be one of my favorite literary characters. He is the kind of man I hope each one of my friends find in life. Dedicated, kind, hardworking, subtly handsome and without ego. Bathsheba (HATE the name, it makes me cringe reading it but whatev) was irritating to me. I was appalled by her prank on Boldwood due to her wounded vanity and many other things. I really liked this book though, so many great twists and turns in the plot! Definitely recom
