Poignant and Painful

This was not an easy read. One sub-character (not a villain in the strictest sense, but definitely the story's antagonist) I wanted to kill. Literally. He truly needed to die. (view spoiler)

That said, if you need a happily ever after, this is NOT your book. Seriously.
