The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath has long been considered a classic and honoured by many a feminist. Wasn’t riveted, just mildly interested. Good portrayal of how a woman’s mind works when under stress or dealing with depression, whether it’s in the 60’s or now. I think most woman can relate to this book on some level. This was this weeks audiobook. No idea why I've avoided this one all my life. For some reason I'd developed a dislike of Plath without ever having read anything except that one poem that gets taught in every highschool english class.
