What Members Thought
Read it because my daughter was reading for English class. Thoroughly enjoyed. All the obvious things that go into making a story read for years after the writing - memorable characters, active plot, and a worthy theme. No point in me adding my two cents that Dickens is an excellent story teller, telling worthwhile stories. I often wonder about his overall influence on our culture, it must be immense. I read somewhere that more people got their history of the French Revolution from A Tale of Two

Wonderfully written both in style and in the plot architechture, faithful to the accuracy of historical facts, A Tale of Two Cities is simply a masterpiece.
