My favorite play of all time. I like Shakespeare, sure, but something about Hamlet moves me. Does Hamlet love Ophelia? How much madness is acting and what is real? The line "to thine own self be true", one line of wisdom in the middle of a pompous old man's ramblings that shows he actually is a loving father despite being rediculous. I don't know why I ended up having this be the Shakespeare I fell in love with, but I did and I will keep reading Hamlet even past when I have it all memorized.
