I am new to this series and wasn't sure what to expect. Color me surprised and a fan. I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't put it down. The characters enthralled me. The friendship and bond between Lissa and Rose captivated me. I love how they looked out for each other no matter what, yet they felt comfortable enough in there friendship to be honest with each other. I liked this book, and I think the only thing that kept me from making it 5 stars was the constant teen drama. In spite of this fact, it was still a great book.
