Everyone believed that The Fault in Our Stars was an amazing book, let alone an amazing movie too. At first when I first heard of this book and the author John Green, to whom, it was from one of my dear friends, Raeanne Chami. She completely obsessed about his books, her first book that she read by him, Looking for Alaska. I remember she used to go on and on about how good that book was and when she read The Fault In our Stars, I remembered that she told me that she cried. I didn’t know exactly Everyone believed that The Fault in Our Stars was an amazing book, let alone an amazing movie too. She completely obsessed about his books, her first book that she read by him, Looking for Alaska. I remember she used to go on and on about how good that book was and when she read The Fault In our Stars, I remembered that she told me that she cried. I didn’t know exactly why at the time, but when I did, I finally understood why. Yeah, like everyone else, I cried for Gus and Hazel and Isaac too, but I mainly cried about the fact that I’m living a life right now that I would’ve loved to trade with anyone else who has a more interesting life than mine. Now I know, that, there are also other people out there too, who would do anything, to trade my their lives for mine, not because I’m somewhat weird and normal, but because their lives are a waiting to explode grenade whilst mine is adamant and will cease to exist slowly or maybe even wither with time, God knows what. As for anyone who has read my review before this one you’re reading right now, it was short and had barely any words besides ‘OMG! I’m speechless…I have no other words to describe my agitation right now’ and that sort of thing. But after I watched the movie, I realised that this book isn’t worth just a few words but more than that. Like Hazel Grace Lancaster mentioned, there are so many infinities in between 0 and 1. There is point one, point one-one-two, and point one-one-one-two, and so on. This book has inspired me to live my life to the fullest, though it reminds me a lot of the end that might or might not come, I won’t ever take my life for granted. Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters lived the lives of characters in everyone’s eyes as to what I hear and see, but the stars tell me that they were real people who died a happy ending anyone would love and want to seek. I’ve realised that I've been graced and blessed to have the chance to live a normal happy life where I'm healthy, and others aren't. This is why I've decided to do something, anything to help the others in need and who are suffering, to live their lives to the fullest, the happiest possible. I have no idea how I'm going to do this but, someday I’ll figure it out and my crazy brain will sort everything out to make things work for everyone. I’d also like to mention Esther Earl in this review. Esther Earl is one of the few people that I've always wanted to meet but am too late to. As Esther Earl died in June, 2010, I realised I was 10 at the time and I was still making wishes upon the stars. I made outlandish wishes for my dead grandfather to be raised from the dead and that one day my Dad’s efforts will pay off and he will someday win the lotto. But really, at this time, Esther was living the life that yeah, sort of cut her off from doing things that she’s always wanted to, but she was living the life that she had to the fullest and without fear of what was to come her way. Esther Earl inspired a lot of things in me but mainly she inspired me to have courage and faith. Not many people I know have those aspects in their lives and I'm proud to know that Esther Earl, Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters are brave, courageous and faithful people that I have ever come across. And overall, this is just a short summary of what I truly believe about The Fault in Our Stars, Okay? Okay

OMG! If you have not read this book then stop reading my review and go get it immediately. When I first picked this book up, I was very hesitant. I mean, who wants to read a book about two teens knowing they're going to die from cancer? But, boy oh boy was I wrong. This book was adorable and sweet. Even though the cancer was a big part of the book, there were funny and cute parts throughout the book that kept me reading. However, the ending was very sad and was coated in walls of my tears. Absolutely incredible! I finished this book in about 4-5 hours maybe (considering i was reading slow because I didn't want it to end!) and it was just incredible! I laughed, I cried, and all sorts of hidden feelings inside of me showed up while reading it. I will definitely be reading this again! ...more
