***I was given this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.***
This was a super cute novella. I loved Maggie's personality and quirkiness. I loved the prospect of her new job and I LOVED the perspective partner/maybe even romance!? I also loved her background story, it was very real and relateable.
It was a great setup for the new series by Michelle Graves, so I'm excited to see where she can take it.
And I really just want more scenes with John Cormick....too much to ask? ...more

Hilarious and sweet! Poor Maggie has experienced a death in the family. Her father has passed away. It is now her and her mother against the world but they must continue living. Maggie gets a new job as a journalist but completely botches her first assignment. She is convinced that fate hates her. She is constantly in the middle of bad luck...maybe bad luck is her middle name. She is given a second chance and given another assignment but keeps running into John, the asshat. By the end of the sto

Nice start to a cute serial.
Maggie's a journalist but she's can't catch a break.
She keeps running into John who is just a grump, hot, but man, he's got an attitude.

I've loved Michelle's writing in previous genres and I loved it in this one. The storyline was interesting and funny, and my only complaint would be - just when I got into the story it ended upbruptly. I was like....click next page...click next page....wait WHAT!?...its finished?? LOL..

This is such a relatable book in so many ways. Any one of us that has had an ink pen explode on us or fallen walking up stairs- will get it.
The Ship has Sunk is a super short read about Maggie and her silly idea to fake her way through sports journalism after the death of her father. She has a Southern mom.. anyone who knows Southern mammas will know that is a book waiting to happen right there!

I Love Maggie Moore!! She is such a fun character, but boy does she have some bad luck!! Though her bad luck makes the story quirky and funny! And i just want to smack John sometimes, on the other hand you can sense more underneath that rough exterior.. I can't wait to read where Maggie's Misadventures lead to next

I really enjoyed this first story in the series! Maggie has a lot of bad luck! But her bad luck leads her to meet John. He is handsome and hot but also rude and grumpy! She thinks her life will always be a series of unfortunate events. I can not wait to read more!!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I loved Maggie and her clumsiness. Her encounters with Mr Grumpy Mcgrump pants, and other fun names she called him, were very enjoyable. This was a quick fun read with great characters, and an interesting storyline. It was well written and I look forward tor reading the next book in the series.

The ship has Sunk is a lovely way to introduce us to Maggie Moore.
Maggie is a journalist & desperately wants to work in the Life & Style section of a newspaper. Sadly things never seem to go right for her & she ends up on the Sports section, with hilarious results.
Maggie is a sweet, loveable girl, she is a bit clumsy at times, but it is a cute quirk.
I really enjoyed reading this, it made me laugh a lot.
I am so looking forward to reading more about Maggie Moore.
