Rivers gives us a new glance into the world of the Others by introducing us to the Others of Seattle. We get to meet a whole new cast of characters (some with beautiful accents), as well as getting a glimpse into some very familiar ones.

I love authors who do cross-overs, as there's a real comfort in familiarity. While Roxy, Trevor, and the gang are all new to readers, their abilities, and the rules of their magic, makes sense and fit into the greater Others ecosystem. I liked that Roxy was stron ...more

Well, Brandy L. Rivers has done it again. She's given me a whole new set of characters to love and obsess over. Nights Embrace was an awesome beginning to a new series, a spin-off of one of my favorite series of all time, Others of Edenton. With Werewolves, Druids and magic galore, it's all kinds of freaking fantastic awesome.

When Roxy, a singer in a band, and an author, shows up late to a gig, she never expects to be completely blindsided by the deliciously sexy singer of another band, Trevor. Well, Brandy L. Rivers has done it again. She's given me a whole new set of characters to love and obsess over. Nights Embrace was an awesome beginning to a new series, a spin-off of one of my favorite series of all time, Others of Edenton. With Werewolves, Druids and magic galore, it's all kinds of freaking fantastic awesome.

When Roxy, a singer in a band, and an author, shows up late to a gig, she never expects to be completely blindsided by the deliciously sexy singer of another band, Trevor. From the moment they lock eyes it's an instant connection. As they tangle up in each other, they deal with a rival pack out for blood, a past relationship that doesn't want to be in the past, and an undeniable soul mate connection. Add in the whole werewolf thing and it's completely unputdownable.

Roxy is exactly the kind of character that I have come to expect from a book by Brandy. She's tough, smart, and incredibly strong without ever being a ball buster, which is awesome. And Trevor, holy crap, I love him. I'm such a book whore because when it comes to Brandy's book boys, I pretty much love them all. Trevor is all kinds of wonderful, he sings in a band, he's a werewolf, he's sweet, but oh so strong and he's got an accent! But what makes Trevor so wonderful, well, really all of Brandy's book boys wonderful, is how freaking supportive he is of his mate Roxy. I loved their relationship, it's completely sweet and wonderfully written.

Nights Embrace is chock full of awesome characters, I especially loved Trevor's pack. I can't wait to find out more about all of these new characters - it's going to be awesome! One of the things that I really loved about this book though, is the cameo's of characters from Edenton!! I was a squeeing like a crazy person when one of my favorite book couples of all time popped up in the story - Fallon & Brody!! I adore them - big time. Plus, any visit to Edenton is a blast of epic proportions, I crazy love that wacky town and wish that it was real.

Nights Embrace is another knockout from the amazing Brandy L. Rivers. If you are new to her books this is a great one to begin with and if you've been reading her books then you are going to love this one. I adore the way that Brandy writes and the way that she tells a story. She's one of those rare authors that I implicitly trust with my time spent in the pages of a book. She has a way of writing characters that completely rocks my socks off. Her women are incredibly strong and her men are so incredibly sweet but total Alpha's. It's a combustible combination and quite refreshing to read about male characters that support their women to be the best versions of themselves and not hold anything back. Nights Embrace is definitely a book that I will be re-reading. I can't wait to see what happens next. Now go forth and 1-click it!!

Words can not express how much I LOVE this book! "Nights Embrace" is a fantastic story and my only complaint is that it ended to quickly!
I totally enjoyed reading about the banter between Roxy and Trevor. They are drawn to each other from the beginning and it gets HOT HOT HOT!!
What makes this one even cooler, is that they are both into music BIG TIME and it comes through the text. I could have used a little more music in the story but I am a ...more

What a way to start a spinoff series! Nights Embrace was explosive and full of awesomeness.

I was captivated by Roxana Nights, she was such a badass, I loved her (even her name was awesome!)

I loved that there was music involved. I loved the prospect of the accents that the wolves had. I loved how everything played out. Trevor <3

The other characters were great also. Most especially Joey & Sorcha and even Fiona!!!!!

I loved this book. It’s really that simple. I was completely blown away by how much I enjoyed it, I don’t typically read too much romance and definitely not about rockers covered in tattoos. I guess Brandy Rivers ruined that for me. There was so much more to this book than tattooed rockers, there was action, magic, shifting, laughter, hot steamy melt your face off sex, and a love story. I am looking forward to her other books now and being a part of the world of Edenton.

Another hit from one of my absolute favorite PNR authors! Brandy never ceases to amaze me with her deep characters, unique story lines, attention to detail and over all skill at weaving together some pretty intense stories. Although Nights Embrace brings us a new cast of characters we do see some of our faves from the Others of Edenton Series, including my personal favorite, bad ass tattoo artist Fallon!

This book is just freaking awesome!!! I just love Roxy she can sing and write some amazing stories, but she can't cook. She also can take care of herself even if she is little and kick anyone butt if they mess with her family or friends. Then there the oh so hot Irish wolf Trevor now he might look all big and bad but he is so understanding and a big sweetheart and he knows how to cook. The storyline was interesting and the characters likeable.
