I read this years ago, but it had been quite a long time. What a great book. In typical fashion, the story takes awhile to get where it is going, but the characters are so fun that you don’t care. And every part of the story takes you somewhere, not story line is introduced without a purpose. And an purpose is something very central to this story. A week or so after I read this book I was thinking about whether or not Homer was manipulated by Larch. Usefulness aside, I wonder if Homer will ever ...more
