This captivating story chronicles the happenings of one specific point on Earth through time, though not in chronological order. In present day, it is someone's living room. It became a living room over a hundred years ago, as the story shows the house/room being constructed. A totally unique reading experience! this graphic novel focuses on a single room and the occupants of it across time. It jumps from year to year to show how the room changes and what is happening to those who occupy the room.
I'm not usually one for graphic novels, but the idea of seeing the evolution of a single room over the space of time intrigued me. I was expecting the book to unfold in chronological order, but instead it leaped back and forth across decades as you turned the page. Interesting concept but not going to sway me over to the graphic side.
