It's pretty crazy to say this, since the book's big enough to kill very large bugs, but The Stand is actually kind of a book about nothing. I decided to read this book during Covid. Me and a million other people. Ha ha. I actually don’t think king does dystopian as well as other writers - yes, I said it. I enjoyed the first part, but then he goes off on weird angles as only king does. Overall I enjoyed it but it was way too long and I would not recommend to others.
