This was my second time through. It remains my favorite Stephen King novel so far because I simply love the characters. This edition has all of the deleted scenes - the book version of the director's cut. I must say I think the original editor was wise to cut these sections. They were interesting but slowed the book down.

I decided to read this book during Covid. Me and a million other people. Ha ha. I actually don’t think king does dystopian as well as other writers - yes, I said it. I enjoyed the first part, but then he goes off on weird angles as only king does. Overall I enjoyed it but it was way too long and I would not recommend to others.
