Poetry is challenging to my literal brain. Slowing down is difficult for my "get to the point" self. Sometime, it's important to challenge ourselves and this book of petry was a pretty good fit for me. I was blown away by Amanda Gorman when she read The Hill We Climb at President Biden's inauguration. I immediately whipped out my phone and pre-ordered this book. Unfortunately, it left me feeling disappointed.

This is a rather long collection. She wrote many poems during the pandemic, and it seems she decided to include EVERY one of them.
