This book is a prequel to Legends and Lattes (another excellent book!) but can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. if you are in the mood for some fantasy action, romance, books, baked goods & friendship, this book is for you.
So when I was approved on Netgalley for this advanced audiobook from Macmillan Audio, it's fair to say that made my day. Since then, I've listened to it *twice* completely. First just myself, then with my husband on a road trip... and he enjoyed it too. (This is high praise.)

3.5 Fun, cozy fantasy with nice world building.
Delightful though a little slow. I kept putting this one down and had to force myself to pick it back up. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it closer to when I read the first one.
