Unexpected! Both what happened and how much I liked it! My boy R Armitage chiming in on audio was a pleasant surprise.
A good thriller for me is filled with twists and turns and has an ending that manages to shock me. Normally I figure things out early, and am bored. Well this book kept me guessing, and I was definitely entertained and surprised. Admittedly, halfway in, I questioned if this would fit the bill, but it certainly did. Overall 3.5-4 stars.
What a crazy ride! She's known as Queen of the twist and this one definitely lives up to the hype.

A spooky thriller with unreliable characters, set in an ancient Scottish Chapel in the snow? Sign me up! This decidedly NOT a holiday story still seemed perfect to kick of the winter season. A bit predictable but still fun and twisty.
I enjoyed this story with its twists and turns!
