I have many mixed emotions at the conclusion of this important novel, many of them opposites: devastation & renewal, despair & hope, joy & anger.
I picked up on one of the twists early on, but didn’t see the others coming. It was hard to read in some parts, but definitely essential reading.
Also—all the content warnings.
