Hmm.. I expected more than this. I enjoyed The Hunting Party (Lucy Foley's previous thriller) and I really hoped I would enjoy this one too. But it feels too similar with Hunting Party, both the writing style, the plot, even the characters, I felt like having a deja vu when reading it.

There are too much coincidence, the plot seemed a bit tacky. Like - how come every single person who had been hurt by the victim was in this wedding party?? And it's mostly unintentional too XD The ending felt a b

It took me a bit to get into it, but then I couldn’t put it down. I’m looking forward to reading Foley’s other books. She really perfected characterization and sense of place in this novel. A must read.

I had about a million predictions which kept changing as I was reading as to how everything was going to play out in the end. For the most part, all of my predictions were completely wrong. I was able to guess one major twist pretty early on but other than that, I was completely shocked by all of the twists and turns! So, so good! The only thing that bothered me was how all of the characters were so conveniently connected to the groom.
