What Members Thought

Amanda
I spent 3/4 of the book not caring about the characters or the plot. Eventually it did pick up and at that point I was only motivated by wanting to know the ending. It dragged most of the time.

Slightly predictable. I would have enjoyed the victims past being brought to light more. But a very enjoyable audiobook.

Solid 3.5 stars. It was a great book to read as the weather is getting colder and Halloween is approaching. The bleak isolated island off the coast of Ireland was the perfect backdrop for the novel. The last 25% of the book was suspenseful and kept me guessing how it would end (v satisfying ending!). But the first 75% of the novel was a much.slower.pace. Zzzzz

Full of dark, twisty suspense! Thoroughly enjoyed, great read for a chilly, lazy October weekend! Highly recommend!
