I saw this book listed as one of the Kindle Prime free reads and, having heard some hype about it, pick it up to read. It was a pretty good story, though not worth all the hype. I started a few months ago, read a few chapters and put it down. Picked up again yesterday and finished the rest of the book.

For such a disturbing topic (yes, the protagonist's sister is literally a serial killer), this novel is surprisingly flat. For me, the fact that it's set in Nigeria is a plus, but she describe a lot about the location and culture. ...more
