Not sure about that ending...
Another book yet again uses the device of the character "blacking out" to add to the mystery of who the murderer is. This is the trend now, and I preferred the vampire trend. Still, I can't resist debut novelists! I must know why/how they keep getting published while overusing these trendy formulas. 2 points for being entertaining. Negative 3 points for having zero likable characters and using "blackouts". Come on, now, publishers..we are not all idiots.

Up until the end this was a satisfying mystery/suspense with lots of enjoyable twists. The ending just annoyed me, though.
I enjoyed this book. Perfect poolside read. Enough twists & turns to keep you guessing. I guessed the true culprit 2/3s in but there were unexpected additional details at the end that continued to make it interesting.
