I listened to this book on audio several years ago and was so moved by it, I ended up purchasing the hardback edition. I recently pulled it off my book shelf as it has been mentioned in several podcasts and news articles of late. This book has such an incredible message of not letting your circumstances guide your life, but determining what is important to you in your life, no matter how many days are left.

3.5 stars.
A memoir of a young neurosurgeon who finds out he has stage IV lung cancer at 36 years old. Very quickly, he goes from a doctor to a patient. Though I didn’t especially connect with his writing, he raises lots of necessary questions and his unique perspective gives him unique insights. His wife’s lengthy afterward was extremely moving.
