I found a lot of things in this novel very interesting, and kind of depressing. The view of America's future is kind of bleak, but there is an interesting commentary on the increasing inability of people to connect without electronics. The relationship between Lenny and Eunice began as something kind of creepy, but then developed into something sweet; but ultimately both were perhaps a little too damaged to be able to navigate things properly. Was incredibly tempted to give up on this one, but made it through to the end. Just not my style.
Eh. This book didn't really do it for me, although for a bit at the end I was sucked in to what was happening. I often find books that are about the near future with a lot of nearly recognizable techno-babble to be clever, but nothing more. I thought this book need more story and more relate-able characters.
