This book took me a while to finish. I started it and then put it down to read something else and I eventually came back to finish it.

Oh boy, this one is a doozy. Jeanie is The Widow. Her husband Glen has just passed away - he was accused of a terrible crime and was never really cleared. The story goes back and forth in time and changes narrators. We read from Jeanie's POV, the detectice, even the victim's poor mother has her POV. I liked that this book has its ups and downs, and the reader is trying to piece together this story and we read as it all unravels. The true story only comes in the last few pages but its quite a rid

Definitely a psychological thriller, but I use the term 'thriller' loosely. I will say the author wove the different perspectives telling the story very well. The reader was left guessing until the end.

Really 3.5 stars. I knew how this was going to end, but I wasn't sure how she was going to get there, and then the entire ending felt rushed. I don't know. The first 85% was really enjoyable.
