This was an impressive debut. The framing worked really well, the pacing was perfect, and the action really drove the entire book. There was always an underlying feeling of tension. I was always dying to get back to reading to find out what happened. Really fun to read.

I got this book on sale, it had high reviews both on Amazon & Goodreads so I thought I'd give it a go.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure I liked this book despite the 4 stars! Four stars because it was intriguing, original & good writing... but honestly it was really disturbing... 'almost' disturbing. I can't really say much more or I'll give it away.

Strange book concept but piqued my interest & kept me entertained.

4.5/5 This was a great psychological thriller. Wonderful use of past and present narrative. Creepy and unnerving with an almost Dexter-ish vibe. Super fast page turner that I read in one sitting. Predictability is a draw back but in the same way that a movie of this genre would be as well.
