I liked this book because of the plot, the the psychological questions that are posed. The writing isn't great sentence by sentence, but I was so compelled by the plot that I couldn't stop reading. Just what I needed as I am grappling with the very challenging John Williams book Augustus.

I enjoyed reading this, but I felt that the drama was forced. I always love Moriarty's use of internal dialogue, but this didn't make up for the weak, obvious plot.

Entertaining, multi-perspective on how secrets affect us. The author's way of getting inside so many characters' heads is enthralling. I was going to read Big Little Lies but ended up with this one instead and I am so glad that did.

The lives of three women intertwine because of one terrible secret.
This book is like chick-lit for the suburban mother. I found the story intriguing until the very end. The secret is not what you might expect!
