What Members Thought

This is the first selection of the year for my teen book discussion group. And believe it or not, I have actually read this before, but picked it up again for a refresher. I am actually on the fence on whether or not I “like” this book. It is interesting, clever, smart, full of interesting characters and is probably a good book for young women to read. But really the other-worldness and mystery made me feel a little uneasy while I read it. I realize that maybe that is the point. When I read book

(In some ways, it reminds me of Roald Dahl's writing.) Atmospheric and compelling.
