I really enjoyed this book. I had no idea what it was about when I started, and was sort of surprised to learn it was about two sisters, conjoined at the head. Sure, I tell you that, and you think, "Oh, how horrible," and to be sure, it is, but The Girls, as they are known in town, never let it get them down and they never let it interfere with their involvement in LIFE.

Have you ever wondered what life would be like as conjoined twins? I hadn't really either but Lori Lansens did a great job of creating a beautiful story about these sisters. I am adding the books she listed in her research to my to-read list. Fascinating subject!

3.5 stars. It took a very long time to get into this book. I may have given up if it weren't for book club, but I am glad I continuted on. I finally began to care for these sisters and they matured as characters as well. Good read, not great.
