2.5 rating. I can see a lot of the appeal of this book, and I definitely wanted to know how it ended. However, the actual journey to the end wasn't as fun for me. I am WAY too much of a questioner for this style to work for me; I criticize decisions and get annoyed when people can't see things clearly/figure things out. Overall, I did like the plot and the story, and the characters ended up being ok. It just wasn't as good for me as I hoped it would be.

Definitely read with caution. There are many very graphic and horrifying violent scenes. Due to the nature of violence and crimes against women, I almost gave up reading the whole book.
Engaging because it’s so gruesome. Be prepared.
