What Members Thought
Without any sort of robust character development, this just came across as torture porn. I felt like I was reading False Witness (the first K.S. Book I read). The trope is the same. There isn’t any sort of mystery or thrill here. It’s 500ish pages of not guessing what was going on - just letting the Worst Case Scenario write the entire plot for me before I read even 100 pages. This is a good one if you're into thrillers BUT it's pretty graphic at times ((view spoiler)) so it's definitely not something you want to read if you're triggered by something like that.
