I saw the movie first, which was the Worst...ever, so that might have something to do with my rating. I read this once before and remember enjoying it more. Otherwise...meh.

I enjoyed the stories about the different generations of these Chinese Americans. I wish I had taken notes at the beginning with names so that it would have been easier to follow relationships throughout.
