I really liked this classic. I couldn't help but wish I was only 13 reading it. She seemed more real and human in the book and less perfect than the shirley temple Sara. Although I didn't know Captain Crewe was going to "stay dead" unlike inthe movie when he is found. I really love the part in the newer movie when they are taking Sara away in the rain because her Papa doesn't remember her but then all of a sudden he runs outside and screams "SSAARRRAAA" .... gives me chills.
